Hands On: Real-World Lessons for Middle School Classrooms

Teacher training for the Hands On: Real-World Lessons for Middle School Classrooms was developed based on best practices and current research on teacher professional development. The Hands On program offers a free two-day professional development workshop, which is designed to:

Raise background knowledge on food safety
Familiarize teachers with the novel instructional strategies included in the program
Model the effective delivery of lessons and labs
